Open edX Conference Wrap-up

November 19, 2014 | By

The inaugural Open edX Conference is a wrap! With more than 30 speakers covering dozens of topics from open badging to shopping cart integration, we had no shortage of inspiring projects and discussions.

Our goal was to make this conference as open as our platform, and we came away impressed as always with the enthusiasm our community had toward contributing to a successful group endeavor. Thank you for sharing, listening, volunteering, communicating, and working with us to troubleshoot our handful of first-conference bugs.

Stay tuned for more follow-up, which will include a link to the speaker decks and a post-event survey to help us plan for our next Open edX Con.

Though the conference is over, we’d like to echo the sentiment from Andy Armstrongs and Brian Talbot’s presentation: we’re reachable. We look forward to seeing you at the next conference — and to being in touch much sooner.
