Join us for a special two-part event designed for educators, course authors, site operators, and anyone passionate about improving online education with the Open edX platform. We’ll explore how to measure true student understanding using engagement analytics, and showcase what’s new in the newly launched Open edX Ulmo Release.

Presentation 1: The Future of Education: Measuring Competencies Through Engagement

This session will show how education can move beyond simple attendance tracking to understanding what students truly learn. We’ll demonstrate how interactive video, student engagement, and AI-driven analysis, combined with Bloom’s taxonomy, provide clear insight into learners’ skills and competencies all within the Open edX LMS.

By encouraging participation through in-video discussions, peer review, interactive quizzes and more, educators can both engage students and gather meaningful evidence of their understanding and progress.
