Axim-Funded Contribution: Deprecating XQueue for Modern Code Grading

October 7, 2024 | By

We’re excited to announce an Axim Collaborative-funded project aimed at deprecating and removing XQueue, a legacy queuing system used for code grading requests in the Open edX platform. The project will transition to a more efficient message bus system, enhancing scalability and maintainability. This upgrade will simplify the infrastructure while ensuring backward compatibility for users.

Proposals for this project are open until October 20, 2024. For more information, please visit the official announcement.
