What’s the Summit About?
The summit aims to bring together community members to share ideas, propose solutions, and collaborate on improving the core contributor journey within the Open edX ecosystem. The focus is on enhancing the tools, processes, and support systems that contributors rely on, helping to create a more engaging and efficient experience for everyone involved.

We welcome submissions from all members of the Open edX community, whether you’re a developer, translator, educator, or project manager. Whether you’re a seasoned contributor or new to the community, your unique insights can help shape the future of the Open edX Core Contributor Program.

- Improving Onboarding: Streamline the onboarding process to help new contributors feel more comfortable and productive quickly.
- Automation and Tooling: Propose new tools or enhancements to automate common tasks, improving efficiency for all contributors.

How to Submit
To submit your proposal, simply follow the instructions on the Core Contributor Summit CFP page. The deadline for submissions is October 6th at 18:00 UTC. All of the authors for the submissions will have the opportunity to present their topic on the day of the summit, which is scheduled for October 21, 2024 between 13:00 and 15:00 UTC. These dates are fast approaching, so don’t miss your chance to make a difference!
