GibbsReactor -- 32-bit COM

Postby nrgeng » 19 April 2013, 20:24

While running the 64-bit version of COFE the message appeared: “Warning: GibbsReactor is a 32-bit COM object and is created out-of-process; running the 32-bit version of COFE might be more efficient.” I do not remember seeing this message before. I have not paid attention to which version of COFE I am using. (Q1) Should I? (Q2) Has it been recently added? I just updated with CUP today.

This indicates a problem with the 64-bit COUSCOUS registration. Can you try re-registering it by running

regsvr32 COCOCOUS64.dll

(this needs to be run as administrator in case you installed for all users).

Today I updated my COCO files with CUP twice, until I read the message “COCO64 is up-to-date.” While loading the same flowsheet for which the Warning message first appeared, no message was generated today. The problem has been resolved. Thank you.

Glad to hear it. The 64-bit COUSCOUS was updated again a couple of minutes ago to resolve the CSTR issue.
