HTX Information Port

Postby wmconlon » 24 September 2014, 08:20

I notice that the Heat Exchanger Unit Operation allows me to add a Virtual Information Port, but I have never been succussful connecting an information stream to a Heat Exchanger.

Is there a trick to make this work?

You can define virtual information ports for all unit operations, that are routed to input or output parameters.

You should be able to connect them without problems to an information stream. Perhaps in the case of specifically a heat exchanger, you experience the problem that the icon only has 4 connection points. Try removing the icon? (right click unit, icon, remove icon).

Good to hear. You can simply edit the icon and add more connection points.
