ChemSep PCD Manager

Postby Usseglio » 02 December 2014, 19:02

Dear all,

When I run a Flash operation in ChemSep, using new compounds from PCD Manager, model does not calculate, and following message pops up:

"Checking data file C:\Users\MCUSS_~1\AppData\Local\Temp\CS_4_1A64_1D00E59_BCD97330.sep
Cape Open unit name: Column
Cape-Open unit id: CS_4_1A64_1D00E59_BCD97330
Cape-Open run level: normal
Cape open Initialized
Cape Open Thermodynamic-properties enabled
Reading configuration
Reading component property libraries
Calling Cape Error: Error: Component ID must be > 0
Error: Component ID must be > 0 "

Why this error, considering I am adding 3 compounds to the model
Is this issue related to new compounds added to PCD Manger ?

Thanks,

Marcelo

The message seems to indicate you saved a compound with ID zero. Possible?

Also do not forget to identify the component with a CAS number as CAPE-OPEN uses that to identify compounds.

If the ID compound field is "Index", the 3 compounds have ID.
They also have CAS number.
In PCD Manager, when I select "check essential data" all the tabs are checked in green.

Can you send the PCD file to Harry so that he can check what is going on?
